According to Esperanza, when she was in the store, the man standing in front of her had just bought the last ticket in the case and won $50. The cashier had to open a new pack and the lady bought two first tickets, needless to say that one of them had the big prize.

Esperanza plans to spend part of her winnings to help her son Joel finish remodeling his house. She also plans to help her other 5 sons and 2 daughters. This amazing lady is a cancer survivor and now plans to help her kids in every way she can.

As for personal plans, she hopes to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan Del Valle-National Shrine to express gratitude.

Esperanza said she will keep on buying lottery tickets every week and also as the scratch-offs are not her only games, she is planning to continue taking part in the Lotto Texas.

By the way, the store where the ticket was bought will receive a bonus prize of $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.
